Neck and shoulder pain are very common and are often linked to poor posture due to the amount of time we spend sitting down. Chronic pain and muscle tension in the Neck and shoulders can arise because more and more people spend hours sat at a desk in front of a computer. In addition more time is spent driving and many hours are spent unwinding in front of the TV or on the computer in the evenings. This sedentary lifestyle is putting a strain on our bodies and attributing to the symptoms such as a dull persistent ache. It is unlikely to resolve itself.
How we can help
A combination of advanced massage techniques are used to treat the muscles and soft tissues of the neck, shoulders and back. Mobilisation of the upper cervical spine may also be used to reduce any stiffness. Stretches and exercises can be done between sessions in order to help with your recovery and improve the benefits of the treatment.
