1 to 1 classes are ideal if you have a specific issue that you would like to address such as hip pain, lower back pain, or neck and shoulder pain etc. The sessions will be tailored to meet your specific needs. If you are new to Somatic Movements I will introduce you to some of the basic movements that will help to ease your pain. It is important to remember that the brain does not distinguish you as individual parts but instead as a whole system. Therefore, in the sessions we will explore full body patterns to help alleviate your discomfort. If you are familiar to Somatics these sessions are ideal to help to tweak your practice and explore Somatic Movements further.
Currently I can offer these sessions both face to face and online. The first session is a 90 minute session to allow for a consultation and to go over how Somatic Movements work and go through the Somatic Principles. During this session I will also do a postural assessment to identify what common habitual postural habits you have and where the issues are. If you are having a face to face session this can be done at the start of your first session. We will also discuss the outcomes you are hoping to achieve and what you can expect.
You will receive a recording of the session as well as online follow up via email.
